The Jaguars opened their basketball season with a 68-48 loss to a scrappy and hustling Lakewood team.
The Jags were lead by the ruggedness of junior post Brittany Morrison who had 11 points and seven rebounds and the poised play of freshman point guard Gia DiMassa, who had 9 points to go along with a solid floor game in her first ever varsity game.
