The visiting Jaguars defeated #6 ranked Magnificat 49-43, in front of a standing room only and roaring crowd. The Jaguars were able to maintain their poise in a very dynamic and energized atmosphere. The Jaguars were led by senior Katie Battaglia with 13 points, Junior Greta Burry with 10 points, and Junior Nicole Macmanamon with 11 points.
Macmanamon provided a huge spark for the Jaguars by hitting three, 3-point shots in the critical 3rd quarter. Down the stretch in the 4th quarter the Jaguars once again
demonstrated their poise when Seniors Ann Conroy, Daija Jones, and Katie Battaglia all made pressure free throws. Senior Sarah Schwind once again had a hustling floor game for the Jags. It was a night to remember for the tough and gritty Saint Joseph Academy basketball team.
